The Love for Three Oranges is a satirical French-language opera written by Prokofiev and first performed in Chicago, USA on 30 December 1921 with the composer conducting. Prokofiev compiled a 15-20 minute orchestral suite from the opera for concert use. This short March is the third movement of the suite and is probably the best known piece from the opera.
