Mendelssohn wrote a set of 48 "Lieder ohne Worte" or "Songs without Words" for piano. Here are six of them arranged for orchestra by Kevin Hill in a style which sounds just like Mendelssohn's own orchestral writing. Most of the pieces do not have titles but many have become popular, well-known tunes. The six pieces can be played as a set or individually. They are: Op.53 No.2; Op.19 No.6 (Venetian Gondola Song); Op.19 No.1; Op.67 No.6; Op.62 No.3; Op.19 No.3.
Duration: 15 minutes
A PACK comprises an A4 sized full score plus a complete set of parts including strings 4/4/3/4/2.
