JUMEAUX FOR TWO HARPS
Goodmusic GM452
"JUMEAUX" (Twins) for two harps.
Portraits of my four year old twin grandchildren, composed after a happy weekend together at my home on the Sussex coast in January 2023.
CLEO DANCING: Cleo dances gracefully, a beatific look on her smiling face.
REMI READING: Remi reads intently, oblivious of all around him, immersed in an underwater world of magic and mystery, and emerges from his reverie in a burst of happiness.
Paul Lewis
Harp 1 plays from the score, a separate part is included for Harp 2
Duration 6 minutes
Jumeaux was premiered by nineteen year-old Ukrainian harpist twins Katya and Liza Rajhans (The Catherine-Elizabeth Harp Duo) at the Chapel of the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich on June 30th 2023 in a Trinity Laban Conservatoire Harp Department concert in honour of the composer's 80th birthday.
