Philip Colls(b.1949)
Philip is an experienced singing teacher who lives in Gloucester, where he sang as an alto lay clerk with the Cathedral Choir. He has conducted the Cappella Singers since 1981 and was a singing teacher at the University of Hull. He studied singing with the counter-tenor Geoffrey Mitchell and sang successively with the choirs of Carlisle & Peterborough Cathedrals before moving to Gloucester. The two sets of his arrangements listed below are excellent close-harmony versions of well-known songs that go down well within a concert or as extra encore items.
