David Andrew(b.1956)
A pupil of Brighton, Hove and Sussex Grammar School, David Andrew won an Organ Scholarship to St. Peter’s College, Oxford, where he read Music, studied conducting at the Royal College of Music under Norman Del Mar, and joined the staff of the Dragon School, Oxford in 1980. While Director of Music there he arranged a large number of pieces for a variety of choral and instrumental groups. These included the William Tell Overture, the Dambusters' March, Tchaikovsky's Romeo & Juliet and Ravel’s Bolero, all published by Goodmusic. David's compositions include several orchestral works, a number of stage works and choral compositions.
