About Goodmusic

Goodmusic is owned and run by Elizabeth and David Good who started the business in 1974 retailing printed music and books on music. In 1995 we started also publishing music and have grown steadily ever since, taking over the business of Roberton Publications in August 2003. Since 1998 we have operated only by mail order and do not have a shop or showroom.

We sell all types of printed music and carry an extensive stock for immediate despatch. Anything not in stock can often be obtained within a few days although, of course, we depend on many different music publishers and suppliers and we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular item. Our stock focuses on classical and educational music for instrumentalists, voice and choirs. We do sell popular music but do not generally keep current pop titles.

The Goodmusic Publishing website shows all of our own Goodmusic and Roberton publications that are currently available.

The Goodmusic Retail website (also known as gbdf.co.uk) is where you can find listings of music from other publishers.

We supply orders as quickly as we can. For UK customers music is sent by first-class post or, for larger parcels, by next-day parcel courier. Overseas parcels are normally sent by air mail. As long as what you want is in stock it is usually despatched the same day. If one or more of the items on your order is not in stock we usually wait for that to come before despatching your whole order.

If you want us to despatch items in stock immediately with the other items following later just let us know, but please be aware that a delivery charge is made on each PARCEL sent rather than on the whole order. If you cannot find what you are looking for in our on-line catalogue, please call us (our telephones are manned from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday) or you can fax or e-mail us with your query - but please give as much information as possible.

Discount

If you spend more than £200 per year with us you can have discount on all your purchases, and if you spend more than £750 per year free delivery too! [UK only].

Terms and Conditions

Music is supplied on a firm sale basis. If an item is faulty in any way, let us know and we will replace it. If when ordering from the on-line catalogue you are not sure if the item is what you want, ask us first rather than be disappointed. Trade customers may place orders for our own publications on this site - normal trade terms apply.

Prices

Prices shown are NOT guaranteed. The price shown was correct when stock of that item last came in, but with daily deliveries of new stock and regularly fluctuating prices it may be different when you buy it (not always more - sometimes prices go down!!). The price you are charged will be the price prevailing at the time of despatch. Please ask us if you need a firm quotation or if you would like to be alerted of any price differences before your order is despatched please tell us in the NOTES section when placing your order.

Prices of our own Goodmusic and Roberton titles are accurate. We rarely change our prices and if at all it is usually on January 1st.

Privacy

Your name and any details about you will not be given to any third party. Your on-line "account" is accessed by you using your e-mail address and a password of your own choice. It is not accessible to other users.
