This piece, for pitched percussion, does not reflect Fauvism in an obvious way, but is more of an exploration within a restricted number of musical 'colours'. Contrasts of dynamics, register and rhythmic structures aim to translate into music the chromatic, yet subtle energy present in 'Fauvist' paintings. Score and set of parts.
