1. Goodmusic Dealer Terms

      A dealer discount of 35% is offered to bona-fide music dealers on most items in the Goodmusic Publishing catalogue which includes Roberton Publications and, for the UK, Leslie Music Supply of Canada*. All of these items are shown in our current catalogue which is available free of charge on request. Higher discounts may be offered from time to time on certain products. Exceptions are the OUP Handel Messiah orchestral material (that we print and sell on behalf of OUP) which qualify for a trade discount of 25%. We aim to despatch all orders within one working day of receipt. There is no minimum order and no surcharge for small orders.


      Despatch and carriage charges

      UK orders are normally sent by first class post or larger parcels by courier and delivery is usually the next working day after despatch.

      OVERSEAS orders are normally sent by air mail. Deliveries to Western Europe normally take around 3 days, Eastern Europe around 5 days and the Rest of the World around 7 days. Air mail packets are not trackable and delivery times are not guaranteed.

      For many countries we can offer to send packets by INTERNATIONAL TRACKED - this service is generally one day faster than standard air mail and the packet is tracked at each stage. An extra charge of £5.00 per packet is payable for the International Tracked service. Alternatively we can send orders by FedEx - delivery times guaranteed and fully trackable - though considerably more expensive for smaller orders.

      In the UK the charge for carriage is just £2.50 on all orders. Overseas dealers will be charged according to the weight of the order. If you place your order on our website, the carriage charge will be shown at the checkout, together with the options for International Tracked or FedEx if available.


      Payment terms

      Small UK trade customers Trade accounts who spend less than £400 per year with us are asked to pay on invoice, preferably by Visa, MasterCard or PayPal. We can keep a note of your card details and automatically charge goods as they are despatched to you. This simplifies accounting and saves time for both you and us. If you choose not to pay with a card on despatch, we will usually raise a pro-forma invoice or we may supply on ordinary invoice but the invoice must be paid within 14 days. A surcharge may be payable if the invoice falls overdue and we have to send you a reminder letter to chase payment.

      Normal UK trade customers who spend more than £400 per year with us are supplied on normal credit terms: invoices must be paid within 28 days of the end of the month of invoice. A statement will be sent at the end of each month when there is anything owing.

      Overseas customers will normally be required to pay upon despatch (pro-forma) unless a good trading relationship has been established with us. Payment by Visa, MasterCard or PayPal simplifies currency exchange rates, avoids bank charges for money transfers and makes life much simpler for everyone! Payments must be made in £ sterling by cheque drawn on a UK bank or by electronic means (in sterling) directly to our bank account or by Visa, MasterCard or PayPal. If you pay by bank transfer from outside the UK please ensure that all bank charges are paid. The UK receiving bank makes a charge for electronic transfers from abroad which must be added to your payment. The charge is £2.00 on amounts up to £100 and £7.00 on amounts over £100.

       

      Ordering

      Ordering on-line is easiest and most reliable but orders can also be placed by post, phone, fax or e-mail. To order on-line, before your first order you need to REGISTER on the website. Then just send us an e-mail to say that you have registered and we will approve your registration as a bona fide MUSIC DEALER. You can then place orders at any time and the correct dealer discount will be deducted. At the checkout you will also be shown the delivery options and costs and you can make your choice.


      Other terms

      Goods remain the property of Goodmusic until paid for in full.

      Orders may be withheld if a previous invoice is overdue.

      Customers who do not adhere to our payment terms may only be supplied on a pro-forma basis.

      Overdue invoices are liable to interest at the rate of 3% per month.

      We reserve the right also to make a charge for sending a reminder letter or to charge customers for any costs incurred in recovering overdue debts.

      No returns are accepted without prior authorisation.

      Prices shown in catalogues are subject to change without notice. Prices shown on our website are updated daily. The price charged will be the price prevailing at the time of despatch rather than the time of ordering.
